Hi all,
I’ve been exploring different publishing options for my manuscript and thought it would be helpful to open a discussion on which Book Publishing Services truly offer the best value, not just the lowest cost, but the right balance of quality, support, royalties, and long-term benefits for authors.
There are plenty of choices out there, from well-known platforms like Amazon KDP and IngramSpark to more full-service companies that handle editing, design, marketing, and distribution under one roof. The challenge is figuring out which ones give you real value without locking you into expensive contracts or limiting your rights.
Some services offer a lot of upfront professional editing, custom covers, and global distribution, but they can be pricey. Others are more affordable but leave most of the heavy lifting to the author. Then there are hybrid models that try to strike a balance, depending on what stage you're at in your publishing journey.
I recently came across Book Writing Inc., which seems to offer a variety of services tailored to different authors needs. I’m still doing my research, but if anyone here has worked with them, I’d be really interested to hear your experience, good or bad.
So, fellow writers:
Which publishing service did you choose, and why?
Did it give you good long-term value in terms of royalties, exposure, and support?
Would you go the same route again?
Let’s help each other make smarter publishing decisions!
